Overview

This position will be responsible for leading a team of maintenance technicians performing service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, heating and cooling, boilers, interior finishes, and appliance servicing while maintaining a safe and friendly environment. This position will also be responsible for leading the biomedical department overseeing the service and repairs of medical equipment.

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, healthcare preferred.
  • Up to 3 years’ experience in repair, maintenance, technical role
  • Greater than 3 years in a leadership role within a facilities maintenance organization is preferred.
  • Proficient skills in painting, tile, plumbing, carpentry, hvac, boilers, and electrical
  • Knowledge of hand and power tools and mechanical aptitude.
  • Basic knowledge of Biomedical/Electronics equipment preferred.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must meet the requirements to receive a company driving permit (Age 21 or older, Acceptable driving record, Valid State Issued Driver’s License, and Acceptable Drug Screen Results)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a budget as well as scheduling labor.
  • Proficient with technology, specifically in Microsoft office programs.
  • Previous experience using work order systems.

Essential Functions

  • Leads a team of environment in a primary response role to complete maintenance/biomedical inspections, repairs, and preparation of client’s property.
  • Track, analyze and lead implementation of a preventative maintenance program throughout a client’s property.
  • Act as a liaision for clients and associates in the resolution of maintenance concerns, complaints, and questions.
  • Use of microsoft office programs to build out reports.
  • Participate with call rotation with the other maintenance technicians.
