As a Floating Day Porter you would be responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of commercial properties. A Floating Day Porter must ensure he/she follows company mission statement and values.

• Clean main entrance glass
• Empty and replace liners on all exterior trash receptacles
• Monitoring of restrooms and restocking product (i.e.; soap, towels, tissue and deodorizers, as needed)
• Dusting of mullions – exterior windowsills
• Dust mop main lobby floor
• Dusting of light fixtures and metal work in lobby
• Check common area and clean interior of elevator cabs
• Walk/Examine interior or exterior stairwells.
• Pour water down the drains in all restrooms
• Vacuum
• Dust mop/sweep hard surface floors
• Wet mop hard surface floors
• Report unit maintenance issues as per company procedure
• Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, drapes, furniture and linens
• Report inventory and supplies to Supervisor
• Report lost and found items to Supervisor/Manager
• Assist in maintaining storage closets clean and organized
• Ensure a safe working environment at each site and office
• Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively
• Utilize time wisely and efficiently
• Bilingual (English and Spanish)
• Use of own vehicle to drive to assigned location(s) (mileage will be paid)
• Possess valid driver’s license, proper vehicle insurance, and have acceptable driving record
